Our Story
Diana’s Learning Center began with a simple wish, to give children the kind of care we wanted for our own family. Back in 2011, as new parents, we experienced firsthand how important it is to find a place where children feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow. When we couldn’t find a program that aligned with our values and parenting approach, we decided to create one.
What started as a small, in-home program quickly grew into a licensed learning center rooted in family, trust, and a commitment to every child’s unique development. We understand that parents aren’t just looking for childcare — they’re looking for a true partner in raising their children. That’s why at Diana’s, every child is cared for as if they were part of our own family.
Our team, led by Lisset, is dedicated to continuous learning. We stay up-to-date with the latest research, training, and feedback from families so we can provide the best care and educational experiences possible. From nurturing curiosity to supporting emotional, social, and academic growth, our goal is to help children thrive naturally in a safe, loving environment.

Founder and Daycare Director
Lisset Christian
Lisset received her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Health Care Administration/Pharmacy Practice. She worked for a nonprofit after-school program for seven years, working her way up to Program Coordinator. This allowed for her to see her skills and strengths she had in management. She has worked with many organizations to ensure she runs a quality daycare. In 2020, she has taken Midlands Latino Community Development Center's Daycare Business Training, received her prepare to care certificate from the Nebraska Department of Education, CPR trained through the Red Cross, NECC's Growing Brain Series, ELC Omaha Region's In Defense of Active Learning, MLCDC's Learn the Signs - Autism Signs, MLCDC's Understanding ADHD, The Business Training Series through NECC, and MLCDC's Manejo de Comportamiento de Ninos. In 2021, she has taken NECC's the More You Know, The More Your Bank Account Will Grow, and ELC's Getting Down to Business: The Business of Childcare.

Maria Hernandez
As a dedicated mother and grandmother, Maria brings a wealth of life experience and heartfelt care to her work in early childhood education. With five years of hands-on experience, she passionately supports the growth and learning of young children, finding joy in witnessing their development each day. Deeply committed to her community, she actively participates in church activities and leads catechism classes for youth, nurturing both their spiritual and personal growth. Her compassionate approach and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable guide for children and families alike. I am, Maria, a proud mother and grandmother (and mother to Lisset) with a deep passion for nurturing and educating young children. Over the past five years, I have dedicated myself to early childhood education, and I truly enjoy seeing children grow and learn because of the love and guidance I provide. My involvement in church is an important part of my life—I actively participate in church activities and teach catechism classes to youth, helping them develop both spiritually and personally. Supporting families and watching children thrive brings me great joy, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact every day.

Stephany Steinauer
Hi, I’m Stephany! I’ve spent many years working with children and feel truly passionate about helping them learn, grow, and reach their potential. I have years of experience in daycare settings and am also a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing in-home ABA services for children with autism. My goal is to create a supportive, understanding, and fun environment where every child feels valued and capable. I’m currently furthering my education to continue making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. Stephany has dedicated her career to working with children, bringing years of hands-on experience in daycare settings and specialized behavioral support. As a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she provides in-home ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services for children with autism, helping them build essential skills and reach their full potential. Passionate about child development, Stephany is continuing her education to expand her expertise and make an even greater impact in the lives of children and their families.
